Hope lights up the Horizon

Is it not hope that lights up the horizon, I bet you Christopher Columbus would agree to that back in 1492.

I hope to witness the first men walk on Mars before my time.

I am sure my Grandfather was astounded when we walked on the moon. After all he really was born under an oil lamp with no phones, radios, and TVs , Bless His Soul.

Something to think about

the Illusive Poem

Funny how many times I would try to force out a poem

Ah the mind would refuse to let imagination roam

It is when separated from recorder, paper and pen

That grandiose thoughts and Ideas then appear, Why then?

I am not sure why but it certainly a tease

Frustrating, depressing, An impoundment if you please.

Fear not for later I might remember

The message, the poem  that I wanted to render

If not well that is ok Too!

Because providence may have it to be written by You.
